Generations United Biennial Conference
Generations United hosts an international, biennial conference that offers opportunities for attendees to learn about state-of-the-art intergenerational programs, practices, policies, and research from around the world. The 17th International Conference took place in Washington, D.C. from July 30- August 2, 2013. For updates on the conference, visit here.

Learning Network
Generations United convenes a peer learning network for practitioners, administrators, and anyone else interesting in creating or enhancing a shared site program. We strive to build connections between people passionate about intergenerational programs across the country to ask questions, share ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate successes.  We offer webinars, bi-monthly e-alerts, and on-line resources.

Technical Assistance
Generations United offers a wide variety of training in areas related to grandfamilies, intergenerational programming (such as shared sites and civic engagement.) We can also connect you with consultants in a variety of fields from communities across the U.S. to provide training on intergenerational initiatives and issues impacting relative-led households. To cover costs associated with the provision of technical assistance or training, fees may apply.

Generations United offers training and technical assistance on specialized topics related to grandfamilies. We provide free Technical Assistance on Implementation of the Fostering Connections and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008 through the Grandfamilies State Law and Policy Resource Center on specific issues related to the implementation of the kinship/grandfamilies provisions of the Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008.
