Improving the lives of children,
youth and older adults through intergenerational collaboration,
public policies, and programs.
Generations United is a proven, effective advocate for children, youth and older adults in communities and in Washington, DC.
Founded in 1986 by leaders at the National Council on Aging, Child Welfare League of America, Children’s Defense Fund and AARP, Generations United connects advocates for children and advocates for older adults, to develop a common agenda, forge new partnerships, and educate and empower leaders in the field.
Over twenty five years later we are still working diligently in the pursuit of those goals. Check out the 25 Faces of Generations United to learn more.
